About SpreadsheetGear

A New Generation of Spreadsheet Components
For more than twenty years, Joe Erickson has been creating and leading the development of high performance spreadsheet technology which is used by most of the Fortune 500, including the Smart Spreadsheet, Wingz for Macintosh, Formula One VBX, Formula One ActiveX and Formula One for Java. In 2003, Erickson founded SpreadsheetGear LLC to develop a new generation of spreadsheet components for the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Terry Erickson joined SpreadsheetGear in 2005. He has over thirteen years of experience in the software publishing business, including seven years creating and leading the development of the charting components in Formula One for Java and Actuate reporting products.

Since being released in September of 2005, SpreadsheetGear for .NET has enabled developers from six continents representing large and small companies from every major industry group to deliver richly formatted Excel reports, replace the Microsoft OWC Spreadsheet or Formula One with a 100 percent safe managed Windows Forms spreadsheet control, evaluate complex Excel based models and business rules, as well as dynamically move data and formatting between Excel workbooks and virtually any other form.

SpreadsheetGear LLC is owned and operated by developers to serve the needs of developers. We have a passion for performance, an obsession with quality, and we are focused on customer satisfaction.

Over 100 Times Faster
Than Other Controls
"We just wanted you to know how thrilled we are by the performance we are seeing with SpreadsheetGear for .NET. A 6,000 KB Excel workbook is loading into the WorkbookView control in less than a second. This is over 100 times faster than other controls we’ve tested. That difference makes it possible for us to develop and release a viable product with the Microsoft .NET Framework."
